Lizzie is back!

Lizzie is a shinglback or stumpy tailed lizard. She presents at the Cookie House early in Spring and can usually be seen mooching around with her much smaller husband right through until Christmas, when she often has a few tiny bubbas trailing after her.

She likes a bit of ripe banana, so I try to make sure I have some. The dogs will point to her but otherwise leave her alone, which is a relief. It is always so good to see her back, I worry when she doesn’t turn up until late in the year.
